• Product Description:

Anastrozole reduces the amount of estrogen that the body produces and helps slow or reverse the growth of these cancers of the breast.

·     HOW IT WORKS:

Anastrozole is part of a class of drugs called inhibitors of aromatase. They block estrogen production, which is a key breast cancer stimulator. Anastrozole prevents the use of aromatase. It reduces the body and cancer tissue's level of estrogen.

·      BENEFITS:

Anastrozole is used for early breast cancer treatment, initial or first metastasized breast cancer treatment (spread to other parts of the body), and advanced breast cancer treatment.

·      USAGE:

Your dose, size, and how often you take it depends on your age, treatment condition, how severe the situation is, and how you respond to the first dose.

·      DOSAGE:

One 1-mg tablet taken by mouth once a day is the typical recommended dosage. This prescribed drug is only for adults.

·      SIDE-EFFECTS:

The side-effects include hot flashes, joint pain, sleeping disorder, headache, nausea, allergy, liver infection, and bone pain.
